Book-A-Thon
The Great Falls Public Library Foundation's Annual Book-A-Thon is our signature fundraising campaign that directly supports children and youth services at the Great Falls Public Library. Funds raised through the Book-A-Thon purchase new books for young readers, support engaging educational programs, and provide essential materials that help foster a love of reading and learning in our community's children. Now in its 36th year, this vital campaign ensures that the Library can continue offering high-quality resources and programming that inspire and educate the next generation of Great Falls readers.
Gifts to the Library
The Great Falls Public Library Foundation proudly supports a wide range of library services and programs that enhance our community's access to knowledge and resources. Our Foundation funding helps provide digital access through the Montana Library2Go e-book platform, public computer access, Wi-Fi services, and bookmobile connectivity. We also support expanding collections with adult materials, specialized databases like the Auto Repair Chilton system, and children's books through our annual Book-A-Thon fundraiser. Additionally, we fund cultural programming, library park beautification projects, and a variety of initiatives that strengthen the connection between our community and the Library.
Through various memorial funds and legacy gifts, each year the Foundation provides nearly $200,000 in designated endowed support to the library, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to connecting people with the resources they need for learning, growth, and community connection.
