LOVE YOUR LIBRARY
Thank You, Great Falls
This February, our community came together in a remarkable way to celebrate the Great Falls Public Library Foundation’s Love Your Library Month.
Through handwritten Valentines, shared stories, and community participation across the city, you helped create something truly meaningful—a collective expression of what the library means to Great Falls.
Thank you for being part of it.

A Community-Wide Celebration
From February 1–10, Valentine boxes appeared across Great Falls in local businesses, organizations, and community spaces—inviting people of all ages to share their appreciation for the library.
-
Hundreds of handwritten Valentines collected
-
57 local businesses and organizations hosted boxes
-
Additional messages submitted online
Each note added to a growing collection of stories, memories, and reflections—showing just how deeply the library is valued in our community.

What We Heard
You Tell the Story of the Library
While every message was unique, a few powerful themes emerged again and again.
The library is...

A place to belong
-
A place for learning and growth
-
A space for connection and community

More Than Books
The messages collected during Love Your Library Month highlight the role the library plays every day as a place for learning, connection, and opportunity. Our Library serves as a hub for education, workforce development, and community life, often providing resources that are free and accessible to all.
This project made those impacts visible through the voices of the people who experience them firsthand. Thank you for

Thank You to Our Community Partners
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the support of local businesses and organizations who hosted Valentine boxes throughout the city.
By opening your spaces to this project, you helped bring the community together and made it easy for people to participate.
Thank you for being part of this community-wide effort.
The Story Continues
Love Your Library Month may be over, but the impact continues.
The stories shared through this project will help us strengthen advocacy for the library, inform future programs and priorities, and celebrate the role the library plays in our community.
If you believe in the power of the library, consider supporting the work of the Foundation.
